Son of Robert and Sarah Ann Game; husband of Alice Louisa Clark (formerly Game), of Melrose, Chelsfield Lane, Green Street Green, Farnborough, Kent. [CWGC]

Herbert Game married Alice Louisa Symons, aged 25, the daughter of Henry Herbert Symons, a Coast Guard Officer from Falmouth, at Blackmore, on 6th October 1909.  He was 29.  [ERO D/P 266/1/12].  Their son Albert Edward Game was baptised at Blackmore on 11th September 1910. [ERO D/P 266/1/11].

“I do not believe he ever actually lived in Farnborough, Kent.  Herbert's wife certainly did live there from about 1915 when she moved from Essex. I think she moved there (at about or after Herbert enlisted) to be with her parents being pregnant at the time with Herbert's last child. Her father was in the Navy and moved around coastguard stations”. [Colin Game, descendant]
