A message on Facebook posted by the Parish Council:
The County Council will not meet representatives from the parishes affected by the ending of the 261 service. Instead, they announced today (Thursday) that: ..."the budget for supporting local bus services is fully committed this year and in future years. As a result it is unlikely to be in a position to replace the service."
